EDIT 10/11: This is a remake of an old album cover that was never realeased. The band asked me for a design when they didn't even had any songs ready. 3 years have passed and we both, the band and me, have grown as artists. So now that they are realeasing they're album I re-made the old design

This was made for the front cover of the new ShadowIcon CD called "Empire in Ruins"
They asked for something a bit like "ying yang" with contrast between left and right side, so I made the left side a bit darker with the skulls representing ruin and death. And the left side a little bit more of a golden era with the helmet representing warriors and strengh

I really like both versions and how you managed to keep the good from the old image in this new version. Great, great job
